2014 WALK FOR EDUCATION
The 2014 Walk for Education, benefiting the Livermore Valley Education Foundation, will take place Saturday, September 27 from 9am-12pm at Livermore High School. Walk registration is only $5 and includes a t-shirt and breakfast refreshments. The school that registers the most walkers wins $500! Click HERE to register online.

2014 TRI-VALLEY COLLEGE & CAREER FAIR
"Reach Your Goal" on Wednesday, October 15 at the Tri-Valley College & Career Fair from 6:30-8:30pm in the Livermore High School gyms. Over 100 educational institutions are coming including UCs, CSUs, Private Colleges, Community Colleges, Out-of-State Colleges, Technical Schools, Apprenticeships and the Military. HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT POLL WORKER PROGRAM
The Alameda County Registrar of Voters is seeking Student Poll Workers in preparation for the upcoming General Election on Tuesday, November 4. To be eligible you must be age 16 years old by November 4, have a 2.5 GPA or higher and complete the application form which is available in the Counseling and Career Center. This experience will earn you up to $125, append work experience to your resume, develop networks with community members and create a sense of fulfillment through civic duty.

GRANADA HIGH NAMED INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE CANDIDATE SCHOOL
Granada has been named a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, and is pursuing authorization as an IB World School.
