TRIMESTER 2 FINALS
Trimester 2 Finals will be on Tuesday, March 10 and Wednesday, March 11. Click HERE for the bell schedule. There will be no school on Thursday, March 12 and Friday, March 13. School will resume on Monday, March 16.
DRAMA PROGRAM PRESENTS - THE OUTSIDERS
The Granada High Theatre is proud to present The Outsiders, a stage adaptation by GHS senior Sam Schwartz of the book written by S.E. Hinton. Performances are February 26 - 27 and March 5 - 7 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 for general admission and $5 for students w/ASB. There will be a matinee performance on March 4 at 2:30 p.m. where ALL tickets are just $5. We hope to see you there. Stay gold!
LVJUSD AND LPC PRESENT - "ARE YOU GETTING THE SIGNAL?"
The Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District and Las Positas College are hosting a performance titled "Are you Getting the Signal?" on March 4 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. in the Livermore High School theater. The play explores tensions often found in dating and encourages the audience to provide solutions for creating safe and healthy interpersonal relationships.
ROBOTICS CLUB COMPETES AT VEX ROBOTICS COMPETITION
The Granada High School Robotics Club recently competed in the Northern California VEX Robotics Tournament. The students were challenged to have their robot complete a series of tasks, including moving cubes to a specified zone. The GHS team finished in the middle of the pack out of 70 teams from all over the bay area. This was the first time these students participated in a competition of this type. Congratulations to the Matador Robotics team!
UPDATED HEALTH ALERT FROM YOUR SCHOOL NURSES
Alameda County has confirmed 6 cases of measles in 2015. As of 2/9/15, 103 cases of measles have been confirmed in California. This is a reminder that all children and adults should be sure they are either immune or have been vaccinated against measles. PEER-TUTORING PROGRAM HAS STARTED!

GIRLS TEACHING GIRLS TO CODE EVENT
The 2015 Code Camp is April 11 at Stanford University. This is a free event for 9th - 12th grade girls to learn about Computer Science and Engineering. Click HERE for more details.
