There are still quite a few books still out from Trimester 2.  If you no longer need a book return it as soon as possible.  If you are in the second portion of the class come to the library to renew it.

To support and further the education of students in our community, the Board of Directors of the Hindu Community and Cultural Center have established $500 scholarships to be awarded to a senior of each LVJUSD high school. Applicants must be a graduating senior, submit a completed application by April 12 and have acceptance as a full time student at an accredited college. Click here for the scholarship application. Did you have a high school Coach this academic year that made a difference in your sports training and will also have a positive impact on the rest of your life?  Now you have a chance to thank that person by nominating him or her for the Tri-Valley Sports Final Outstanding High School Coach of the Year Award. 


It’s easy to nominate your favorite coach.  Just go to and click on the banner at the top of the website.  Fill out the short form to nominate your favorite coach.  The winner will be announced at this year’s Tri-Valley Sports Final Outstanding Athletic Awards Event taking place on May 24, 2018 at the Robert Livermore Community Center.  The deadline to submit the nomination is at midnight on April 22, 2018.

California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS)

Parents, your students will be taking the California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) online this month.  It is an anonymous survey focused on youth resilience and health risk behavior.  The data collected will be used to help improve health and prevention programs offered to students that can promote academic success, well-being, and positive development of our youth.  If you would like to view the content of the survey, you can ask the school office to see a copy of the survey or you can click here:
